Content Guidelines

What content is allowed on Coffeescribe and how to report violations

Our Standards

Coffeescribe is a platform for creating and sharing AI-generated scribes. We want the library to be a safe, useful resource for all users. These guidelines apply to all content created and shared on the platform.

Allowed Content

You can create scribes on virtually any topic, including:

  • Educational and informational content
  • Fiction and creative writing
  • Professional and business content
  • Hobby and interest-based topics
  • Self-help and personal development
  • Technical guides and tutorials

Prohibited Content

You may not use Coffeescribe to create, publish, or share content that:

Illegal Content

  • Promotes or instructs illegal activities
  • Contains child exploitation material
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

Harmful Content

  • Promotes violence, self-harm, or terrorism
  • Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
  • Harasses, threatens, or bullies individuals

Deceptive Content

  • Impersonates real individuals or organizations
  • Spreads deliberate misinformation
  • Is defamatory, libellous, or fraudulent

Inappropriate Content

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material
  • Graphic violence beyond what's necessary for the topic
  • Content designed to shock or disturb

Rights Violations

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark)
  • Contains personal or confidential information about others without consent
  • Violates privacy rights

Platform Abuse

  • Spam or bulk-generated low-quality content
  • Malware, phishing, or scam content
  • Content designed to manipulate platform metrics
  • Attempts to circumvent usage limits or content policies

Content Warnings

If your scribe contains mature themes (violence in historical contexts, sensitive social topics, etc.), consider:

  • Making the content clearly described in the scribe description
  • Adding appropriate context within the content itself

Reporting Content

If you find content that violates these guidelines:

  1. Open the public scribe in the library.
  2. Click the Report Content button.
  3. A modal opens with a pre-filled email template containing the Book ID, title, and URL.
  4. Click Copy Email Template (or Open Email Client) and send it to support@coffeescribe.ai with subject REPORT CONTENT (in all caps).
  5. In the email body, add the reason for the report and any specific examples or context.

We review every report within 24–48 hours and you'll receive a confirmation email acknowledging it. The email-based flow exists deliberately — it discourages spam reports and keeps a clean audit trail of every submission.

What Happens When Content Is Reported

  1. Review — We review all reports promptly
  2. Action — If content violates our guidelines, we may:
    • Remove the content from the public library
    • Warn the creator
    • Suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders
  3. Appeal — If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, contact support@coffeescribe.ai with the subject "CONTENT APPEAL"

Your Responsibility

As a creator, you are responsible for:

  • Reviewing AI-generated content before making it public
  • Ensuring content does not violate these guidelines
  • Verifying that content does not infringe on others' rights
  • Adding appropriate context for sensitive topics

AI models may occasionally generate content that doesn't meet these standards. It's your responsibility to review and edit content before publishing.
